Welcome to my Blog!

My name is Allison Goodwin and I am the current Miss Cuyahoga County 2011-2012.  During my year of service I have been promoting my personal platform, Live Healthy America.  In Athens, Ohio I have been working with a volunteer organization called Live Healthy Appalachia.  We go into the Athens city schools and teach our program to elementary schools.  Lessons include anything from fruits, vegetables, vitamins, minerals, international cuisines, and how to cut fruits and vegetables with a knife.  With this knowledge, these children will be able to have a better understanding of what is nutritious not only in general but in all cultures and how to prepare these foods.  I created this blog to share new healthy food recipes, exercise tips, and updates on what I have been doing as Miss Cuyahoga County!  I hope to have many followers that will read these posts on how to live a healthy lifestyle and make a positive change in their life.  For appearance information, please contact me via email at allison.kaye@ymail.com.  Thank you so much!
